GXE TO HOLD PROTEST AT QUEPEM

The Goenchea Xettkarancho Ekvott (GXE) will hold a day long fast and peaceful protest at the Quepem Municipal Square on February 21 from 9 am to 4 pm, to spread awareness and build solidarity to achieve goals of farmers.

The GXE is an association of individuals and communities whose lives and livelihoods are based on agriculture and other ecological occupations.

it has been formed with teh objectives of protecting teh common interest of the farmers of Goa and to ensure teh food security of teh future generations. the GXE has been lobbying hard with teh government to stop acquisition of agricultural lands and to correct its policies without any further delays.
